I just saw Alan Rickman in this really really old BBC production (and did I mention old?) of Romeo and Juliet. I can't imagine I'd actually pick the DeCaprio version of anything over anybody else, but I'd definitely pick DeCaprio's Romeo...I always imagined Romeo to be a bit pathetic and way too young for his own good. This Romeo however, was bloody arrogant, stiff as a board and managed to kill off the one guy worth watching as well. Yeah, Alan Rickman was Tybalt in it... and it was back in the times when he was a tall, gangling youth (Well...as youthful as I've ever seen him anyway). Definitely recognisable (who could forget that voice?) but he had a very obiang hairstyle that actually looked kinda cute. Somehow I never thought of the words "cute" and "Alan Rickman" existing in the same sentence. I mean, "sexy" definitely, but not "cute". Weird would be a major understatement here.
